It started with a stray cat
The whole brand traces back to Mr. Binx, a stray tuxedo cat. A cat who showed up already dressed for the occasion, if you think about it — tuxedo markings, permanent black tie. He is the reason the company exists, and the reason it is called Binxties.
I love that it went in that order. The cat came first, and the brand grew out of genuinely wanting to celebrate him.

Binxties is elevated pet accessories — bow ties, collars, and collar sets for cats and dogs, designed to actually look beautiful on an animal who is going to end up in your photos. Which, let us be honest, is most of our pets now.

One detail worth calling out for the cat people: the feline sets use breakaway collars, the safety design that releases if a cat snags it on something. That is a thoughtful choice, and it tells you what kind of attention goes into these.
I can vouch for these personally
My sister’s Pomeranian wears his, and that is genuinely why I feel comfortable recommending them rather than just cheering for my friend.
You can feel the difference the second you handle one. The fabric has real structure to it, the stitching is clean, and the bow holds its shape instead of going limp and sad after a few wears — which is exactly what happens to most pet bow ties within a month. On the pricing
Everything here is reasonably priced for what it is, and I think that is worth saying plainly. A $25 bow tie is not an impulse-bin purchase, and it is not meant to be — you are paying for materials that hold up and a design that looks genuinely elegant on your pet.
You really do get what you pay for in this category. I have seen the inexpensive versions go floppy, fade, or fray within a season. These do not. Over a year of wear, the quality option is the better value, and it is also the one you will actually still want to put on your dog.
Who Becks is
Becks is the person behind it, and Binxties is honestly the smaller half of what she does. She is a marketing strategist, she writes at becsea.com, and she hosts a podcast called Branding with Becks, where she interviews founders and marketers about positioning, content, and building something that lasts.
Which is the context that makes Binxties make sense. It is someone who does brand strategy for a living, doing it for herself, on a subject she genuinely cares about — and you can feel that care in the product.

I would not write about this if it were not good. What Becks made is a small brand with a real point of view, made properly, priced fairly for the quality, with the safety details handled the right way. Watching a friend build something this considered has been genuinely fun.
Also, and I say this with love: your dog does look better in a tweed bow tie. My sister’s does. It is not close.
