If you’re in the UK and you’ve been staring at a pair of Hayabusas for three weeks trying to decide — I see you. I did exactly that before my first pair, and then I did it again before my second, and honestly I’d probably do it a third time if Brandon didn’t take my phone off me.
So this is the post I wish had existed when I was working out how buying from Britain actually works. My code, what it applies to, the shipping threshold that catches people out, and how I’d choose if I were starting over with small hands and no idea what 12oz meant.

The £80 rule — this is the useful bit
Here’s what I genuinely think is the most valuable sentence in this post, and it’s the thing the UK gets right that the rest of Europe doesn’t:
Free shipping on the UK store kicks in at £80. In the EU it’s €180.
That gap is enormous, and it’s entirely in your favour if you’re British. A single pair of gloves clears £80 comfortably. So a UK order of one pair gets you the discount and free delivery, no basket gymnastics required.
If you’re ordering into the EU instead, you’re looking at €180 before shipping is free — and a lot of single-pair orders land just underneath that. It’s the difference between “add to basket, done” and “right, what else do I need.”
So: UK buyers, you’re fine. EU buyers, have a look at whether you’re a few euros short before you check out, because adding hand wraps is usually cheaper than paying delivery.
(One thing I haven’t tested: whether the threshold is judged on your total before or after the 10% comes off. If you’re hovering right on the line, watch what the basket does when you apply the code.)
What the code works on
It’s a straightforward sitewide 10%. What you should know:
- It’s one code per order. You can’t stack it with another promotion. If Hayabusa is running a bigger sitewide sale, take theirs — I’d genuinely rather you got the better deal than used mine out of loyalty.
- Outlet and already-reduced items usually don’t take a further code. That’s normal for most brands, not a Hayabusa quirk.
- It doesn’t expire. It’s an ambassador code, not a flash sale, so there’s no countdown pressure.
That last point matters to me. I’m not trying to rush anyone into a £150 purchase. If it’s not the right month, it’s not the right month.
What I actually train in
Full honesty on what I own, because I think gear posts are useless without it:
- T3 — in white, pink, and black. These are the ones I keep coming back to.
- T360 — 12oz, which came in my ambassador package.
- E1 — in blue.
And before Hayabusa, over about ten years of kickboxing:
- Venum Contender — roughly two years. Solid, honest gloves.
- A basic pink Everlast pair — my very first.
- One pair of Sanabul from their women’s line, which I ended up giving away. Slightly better than the Everlast, for what that’s worth.
I mention the cheap ones deliberately, because most people writing about Hayabusa have never trained in anything else, and that makes their opinion worth very little. I climbed the ladder. I know what the bottom rung feels like.
The one difference that actually changed things for me
Every pair I owned before Hayabusa stayed exactly the shape it came out of the box in. Two years in the Venums and they were the same glove on day 700 as day one.

That’s the thing. Not the branding, not the colours — the fact that after enough sessions they took the shape of my hand specifically. I have small hands, and “small hands” and “boxing gloves” have not historically been friends. Having a pair that shaped itself around mine rather than the other way round is the single reason I stopped buying cheaper gloves.
That’s not a claim I can make about a glove I’ve never worn, and I’m not going to.
How I’d choose if I were you
I’m not a coach and I won’t tell you how to train. But I can tell you how the three I own differ in the hand:

On sizing, the only genuinely useful thing I can tell you: the number on the box is a weight, not a shape. My first pair was too big because I picked by the number instead of by how my hand actually sat inside. If you have small hands, that distinction is the whole game.
Hayabusa publish their own sizing guidance on the site, and I’d read it rather than take a stranger’s word for it — including mine.
Prices and currency
The store will show you euros by default unless you set your region. Switch it to the UK and you’ll see pounds — there’s a region selector at the top of the page.
I’m deliberately not quoting exact £ figures here, because prices move and a blog post confidently quoting a stale number is worse than no number. Check live prices on the day. What I can tell you is that the glove range runs from genuinely accessible up to premium, and the free-shipping line sits at £80 regardless.
